The Leo Club Program
The Leo Club Program is the official youth service organization of Lions Clubs International, established in 1957 to empower young people through leadership development, community service, and teamwork.
The word LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity, representing the core values that guide Leo members worldwide. Through volunteer projects, Leos develop critical skills, build confidence, and create positive change in their communities.
Today, the Leo movement has grown into a global network with 7,200+ clubs and over 144,000 members across 150+ countries and territories. Leo Clubs are spread across multiple regions including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific regions, connecting young volunteers from diverse cultures under one common mission of service.
Leos from schools, universities, and local communities work together on projects related to healthcare, education, environmental protection, children, elders, differently abled support, and youth development. Guided by Lions Clubs, Leos gain opportunities to lead, serve, and inspire others.
